trigger finger - can I still climb?

I have the trigger finger malady in my index finger, it pops and gets stuck upon extension in the A5 and A3 pulleys... it does not hurt very much in the A3 but hurts when it occurs in the A5, the very last joint of my finger... Is it recommended to do any light climbing? Does anyone know any speedy treatment options? Thank you for your time and help.

I wouldn't recommend climbing as it will probably make the trigger finger worse. A list of treatment options can be found here:

I think the quickest option, but the most drastic would be the percutaneous release. You go in, they do it, and it's taken care of. I'm sure you would have to take at least a month off climbing though.
