unable to curb finger much

Hello

Today is second day of my finger saga and now I am unable to curl my left index finger. It starts hurting substantially. The pain seems to be coming from the A2,C1 area. Yesterday was when I got hurt and I posted it here [climbinginjuries.com]

There is no swelling or redness anywhere on the finger far as I can tell by looking at it. I am able to type on keyboard just fine. I squeeze that finger in all places using my right hand and there is no pain. If I dont curl there is no pain.

Please help...

Hasan

Ice the finger 3-5 times a day in an ice bath and do gentle range of motion (curling and uncurling as much as you can without it hurting too much or making the pain worse).

I am back to climbing like I was earlier. Took three weeks of complete rest. No easy climbing or just traversing, nothing, just rest from climbing.

Good job! Rest is hard, but so important.
